The Market
In the United States, approximately 26 million MRIs are completed per year (source: http://www.comparemricost.com/) and millions of dollars are spent on disease diagnostics. EPIC is committed to the development of technology designed for placement in doctor’s offices, emergency departments, hospitals and other medical facilities that will help to reduce the amount of testing required. Our goal in developing these technologies is to pinpoint areas in the body that may be causing issues. Once the issue is identified and treatment begins, medical providers could then track progress and adjust the patient’s treatment plan using real-time, meaningful data.
How It Works
EPIC ClearView is a specially engineered imaging system that measures galvanic skin response measurement at the fingertips. The resulting images are fed through a highly sophisticated software program and within minutes the physician receives a report that details the results. Before even seeing a patient, the physician can have an overall picture of areas of concern that can help him or her make faster, more individualized diagnostic and treatment decisions.
